Dear Jon,

I know you had an email from Ed Balls the day before yesterday. We’re not going to bombard you, but we spoke about it and decided we would send you just one more message this week, because the stakes are too high not to.

The Government will make their Autumn Statement on the economy next Tuesday. This will be the moment we learn that the biggest economic gamble in an entire generation has catastrophically failed. We won’t be gloating – they’ve let Britain down.

We have a lot of work to do to make the Government change course. Will you help me by joining Labour’s campaign day tomorrow? Download our petition here

Economic growth is flatlining, unemployment is up, and inflation is high. If the Labour Party don’t make the Government change course, who will?

Tomorrow, I’ll be campaigning with my local Doncaster CLP in Carcroft. We’ll be spreading the alternative: Labour’s 5 point plan for jobs and growth.

Will you join me? All over the UK, as many as 10 000 activists will be out in their local communities – spreading our 5 point plan. Get our petition here to take part

Some people say the cost of our plan is too expensive, the answer to those people is clear: the cost of doing nothing is the most expensive choice—economically and socially.

I hope you can join me tomorrow on Labour’s campaign day to spread the alternative

If you can’t make it, but still want to help us spread Labour’s 5 point jobs plan, click here to give £10 or whatever you can afford

Thanks,

Ed
